Exoskeletons, wearable robots, or exosuits are steadily making their way into the construction industry’s mainstream. The technology has helped in making the construction site a much safer and more efficient place to work.

According to the research of ABI, the robotic exoskeleton market alone will touch $1.8 billion in 2025, from $68 million in 2014. In 2019, mainly for rehabilitation, 6000 suits have already been sold. It is expected to see about $2.6 million by 2025.

Some of its examples include the EksoZeoG, from Ekso Bionics. The mounted-arm exoskeleton is not designed to be worn on the body. Instead, the workers place their hand at its end in order to control the arm. The exoskeleton empowers the workers to use heavy hand-tools for completing their jobs faster with less fatigue and enhanced workmanship.
4. Arm Support Limb
Some suits are simple arms that assist workers in lifting heavy tools, while fuller exoskeletons provide a complete shoulder or arm support.
