Many of VDCO Tech’s competencies and services are showcased in the Broward County Convention Center Expansion and Hotel project where they were hired to provide Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) oversight, BIM Construction Administration, Owner Compliance Reviews, COBie Data integration, and P6 Schedule and BIM risk assessment reviews and monitoring for this $1Billion dollar project. VDCO Tech provided these services throughout all phases of the design-build project, ensuring the models complied with the owner’s standards and project team plans and schedules. VDCO Tech was responsible for formulating a detailed BIM plan, monitoring and controlling its progress, and ensuring a successful final digital closeout that ensured that the as-built BIMs matched what was installed in the field.
